What stays on this phone
NextSelfs is built to run a quiz without an account. This page says what the site stores, what it does not collect, and how to reach a person if something looks wrong.
On this device
Progress is written to localStorage under the key nextselfs-v1. That record can include your best score, lifetime XP, today's XP, mastered question ids, recent question ids, streak, a sound preference, and whether you marked today's action done. It never asks for your name, email, or phone number. The site cannot see that record from another device.
Analytics
The code is wired for one Google Analytics 4 property, loaded with gtag.js and no tag manager. The measurement id in the repository is the placeholder G-XXXXXXXXXX. While that placeholder is in place, the Google script is not requested. When a real id is added, the site will send page views plus these events: quiz_start, q10_done, result_view, replay_click, and share_click. Those events describe the round, not your answer text. result_view is the conversion we care about. Ad clicks are not a goal.
Advertising
An ads.txt file names the AdSense publisher pub-4209698393501635. During review the site does not request ads. Slot ids for nextselfs_home, nextselfs_quiz, nextselfs_result, and nextselfs_anchor are empty. If those slots are filled later, Google may set a cookie to measure and serve ads under Google's own policy. You can turn off ad personalization in your Google account.
If you write to cxiangx96@gmail.com, the message contains whatever you put in it. We use it to answer you and to correct a question. We do not add that address to a marketing list.
Children
NextSelfs is written for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
