ABOUT
A mentor for ordinary judgment
NextSelfs is an English practice ground for life skills. Nex, the mentor on the home screen, asks one situation at a time. You pick an answer under a short timer, lose a chance when you miss, and read the explanation only after you land the right one.
The bank has 658 scenarios in seven topics: emergencies, the body, money, energy, people, rules, and digital defense. Three round lengths sit on the home screen. Warm-up is 6 questions at 20 seconds. Lightning is 10 questions at 15 seconds. Hard mode is 12 questions at 10 seconds, with no extra time. A correct answer is worth 10 XP, plus a small combo bonus that stops growing after four in a row. Level names move from Life Rookie to Life Pro only when both your XP and the number of mastered questions clear the next line.
There is no account. XP, streak, best score, and mastered questions stay in this browser. Clearing site data clears the record. You can reset it yourself from Progress on the home screen.
The questions and explanations are an English adaptation of HowToLiveBetter by Plato / eternity4719, used under CC BY 4.0. The original book is on GitHub. The quiz shape — modes, chances, and levels — follows the public edition at livebetter101.com. NextSelfs replaces the community-group popup with a feedback address, cxiangx96@gmail.com.
The field notes under Guides are original essays from NextSelfs. They are not part of the CC BY question bank. They are here so a reader can sit with one skill before they quiz it.
NextSelfs is a practice tool. It does not diagnose, represent you, or move your money. For the limits of that, read the disclaimer.
